RL-4 Slimline
The RL-4 Slimline is a legacy Baker Hughes product with extensive field history dating back to the 1980s. It is family of large OD, internally shouldering, intermediate conductor casing connectors available in 28" OD. The RL-4 Slimline is driveable, with 4-start threads that provide make-up with only 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
RL-4 Slimline Connectors greatly reduce rig time to run conductor casing strings by providing quick stabbing and make-up. RL-4 Slimline connectors are available in sizes and styles for drilling and driving in a variety of applications.
The RL-4 Slimline connectors feature self-locking 4-start threads, which provide make-up with only 1/4 to 1/2 turn of the suspended joint.
The RL-4 Slimline connector is available in 28" sizes and is available with an integral secondary anti-rotation device. The anti-rotation lock is set by a portable, handheld tool. Each anti-rotation tab provides approximately 400 ft-lb resistive torque per inch of nominal pipe diameter.
