SPEAKERS

Ikenna Obodozie, Integrated Project Engineer

Ikenna Obodozie is an integrated well abandonment project engineer for Baker Hughes in Houston. As a well abandonment subject matter expert, he is responsible for design, technical support, project proposals, programs, cost estimates, and client services. He has participated in several well plug and abandonment seminars, workshops, and conferences and is a lead instructor for Baker Hughes well abandonment training classes.

Before joining Baker Hughes in 2013, Mr. Obodozie spent nine years as a workover and re-completions engineer and technical representative for Tecon Oil Services, serving in both the U.S. and in Africa.

Mr. Obodozie holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers.
