This 1-day hands-on course shows participants how to build the base geomechanical model which includes pore pressure models. Participants will learn how to model rock mechanical properties, overburden stress, pore pressure, horizontal stresses and fracture gradient for offset wells and planned wells. JewelSuite PressCheck will be used to build the wellbore pore pressure and other geomechanical models. Participant will also learn how to constrain the maximum horizontal stress from observed wellbore failures, and how to validate geomechanical model from wellbore failures:
