The Baker Hughes TOMBSTONE™ permanent well barrier is validated to ANSI/API 11D1 ISO 14310 V0 standards at 10,000 psi from 40-250°F (4-121°C) to ensure a gas-tight barrier.

The Baker Hughes TOMBSTONE™ permanent well barrier is validated to ANSI/API 11D1 ISO 14310 V0 standards at 10,000 psi from 40-250°F (4-121°C) to ensure a gas-tight barrier. Eliminating gas migration into the cement helps reduce the cost and time associated with re-cementing, which is especially important during P&A operations. The TOMBSTONE bridge plug offers flexible deployment options using wireline, tubing, or coiled tubing.

The barrier’s superior design increases the clearance space between the tool and casing for faster, safer run-ins. And, if removal is needed, the unique top venting design allows for the upper portion of the barrier to be drilled out, permitting pressure equalization across the tool before drilling out the upper slips.
