RL-4S
The RL-4S is a legacy Baker Hughes product with extensive field history dating back to the 1980s. It is a family of large OD, internally shouldering surface casing connectors with sizes ranging from 20 - 26" OD. The RL-4S is driveable, with 4-start threads that provide make-up with only 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
RL-4S connectors greatly reduce rig time to run conductor casing strings by providing quick stabbing and make-up. RL connectors are available in sizes and styles for drilling and driving in a variety of applications.
The RL-4S connectors feature self-locking 4-start threads, which provide make-up with only 1/4 to 1/2 turn of the suspended joint.
The RL-4S connector is available in 20-26" sizes and is available with an integral secondary anti-rotation device. The anti-rotation lock is set by a portable, handheld tool. Each anti-rotation tab provides approximately 400 ft-lb resistive torque per inch of nominal pipe diameter.
