The Aquaness ARKLEAR™ 4057 water clarifier is a moderately cationic, high molecular weight polyamine. This product is effective in liquid/solids separation processes including biological sludge de-watering, thickening, retention, drainage, secondary clarification, and flotation. It works well as a coagulant aid for inorganic coagulants. However, ARKLEAR 4057 water clarifi er is not recommended for use in systems where the pH is above 11. For diffi cult biological sludges, this product works best conjunction with a low molecular weight, highly cationic poly-quaternary amine. ARKLEAR 4057 water clarifi er may be used neat or diluted with clean fresh water. The application point should be selected to ensure effi cient mixing upstream of the settling tanks, ponds, or free water knock out. A positive displacement pump is recommended to handle this viscous product.
