How do I reset my password?

If you’ve never logged in to before, go to Create An Account to register. If you're already a user, follow these steps to reset your password.


Click Forgot Your Password? This will take you to the GE Identity Manager password reset page. Don’t panic, you’re in the right place! We’re working on having our own page as Baker Hughes and GE complete their separation.


Enter your SSO ID (it’s the same as your user ID or the e-mail address you registered with). Type the text displayed in the picture in the space provided and click the Next button.


Enter your user ID again and check the box to prove you aren’t a robot.


This real-human verification is managed by Google, and Google may ask you to solve a puzzle before you can proceed. Follow the instructions.


Click the Next button.


Confirm your e-mail address.


Write down the Reset Code displayed; you’ll need it later in the process. If you don’t write it down, you’ll need to start over.


Check your e-mail for the password reset notification, which is usually delivered within 5 minutes. If you don’t receive it within 24 hours, you will need to start over. Don’t forget to check your Spam folder! Click the link in the e-mail to return to the password reset screen.


Enter the Reset Code in the space provided and click the Continue button.


Choose a new password by entering it twice and click the Submit button. The password rules are on the right.


You’re all set! Go back to and log in with your user ID and your new password.
