E-4 Setting Tool Bleed-off Procedures
We have prepared a series of videos to provide step-by-step instructions to supplement the E-4 Wireline Pressure Setting Assembly bleed off procedures (Technical Unit 4180).
After the firing head and wireline pressure setting assembly (W.L.P.S.A) have been run and fired; high pressure gas will be trapped inside the tools. This high pressure gas must be bled off before beginning disassembly. Failure to comply with the bleed-off guidelines may result in serious bodily injury.
